• Booking and service data: selected studio, service, appointment time, timezone, booking status, package credits and operational booking references
• Payment data: payment status, amount, currency and transaction references processed by Stripe; we do not store full card details
• Account data: the SingingAttitude.com account and portal records needed to manage a paid local booking or package credits

3. How we use your data (purposes)
We use personal data to:
• respond to enquiries and provide support
• show calendar availability, verify a selected appointment, take payment, confirm paid bookings and provide booking recovery
• create or link the portal account and credits required to fulfil a paid local lesson package
• keep append-only records of required service-term acceptance and separate optional permissions
• understand interest in local in-person singing lessons and future coach-network coverage
• review coach-interest or application-style enquiries where relevant
• send marketing messages only where permitted (e.g., you opted in), and you can unsubscribe at any time
• maintain, secure, and improve our website and services
If you follow links between singingattitude.uk and singingattitude.com for online products such as the Online Voice Evaluation, Video Feedback, Online Singing Lessons, checkout, or account/portal access, Singing Attitude Ltd may handle the related enquiry, booking, and support data across shared internal systems and service providers.
4. Legal bases (UK GDPR)
We rely on:
• Legitimate interests: to run and improve our business, keep the site secure, and respond to enquiries (balanced against your rights)
• Contract or pre-contract steps: where needed to respond to a direct service enquiry or take requested steps before providing support
• Consent: for optional media use, optional marketing and optional cookies where required
• Legal obligation: for tax/accounting and compliance requirements
5. Who we share data with
We may share data with trusted providers who help run our services, for example:
• Hosting/CDN (e.g., Netlify/Vercel) to serve the website
• Stripe to process payments and report verified payment status
• Cal.com to show availability and manage selected appointment times
• Supabase to provide protected database, authentication, portal, entitlement and consent-audit records
• Website, enquiry, CRM, or email providers that help us manage communications and follow-up
• Security/anti-spam providers (e.g., human verification on forms)
We share only what’s necessary and require appropriate safeguards via contracts where applicable.
Where the same business systems are used to manage enquiries across singingattitude.uk and singingattitude.com, relevant enquiry information may be handled within shared internal tools and service providers.
6. International transfers
Some providers may store or process data outside the UK/EEA (e.g., in the USA). Where this happens, we use appropriate safeguards (such as contractual protections) designed to protect your data.
7. Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary:
• Enquiries: typically up to 12 months after last contact
• Coach-interest records: for a reasonable period while the coach-network direction is being developed and reviewed
• Financial or compliance records: where any are created and where required by law
Retention may be longer if needed to resolve disputes or comply with legal obligations.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
• access your data
• correct inaccurate data
• delete data (where applicable)
• restrict or object to processing
• data portability
• withdraw consent (where processing is based on consent)
To exercise rights, contact hello@singingattitude.com.
9. Marketing preferences
If you opt in to marketing, you can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in emails or by contacting us.
Optional media and marketing choices are separate from the service Terms. Declining them does not block a purchase. Granting a media preference does not itself authorise a particular recording or automatic publication. Where the portal preference route is available, a customer may use it to add, narrow or withdraw optional media preferences for future use; the technical record is append-only so the change history remains auditable.
10. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies on singingattitude.uk and singingattitude.com where both domains are operated by Singing Attitude Ltd. See our Cookie Policy for details and how to manage preferences.
11. Children
If you believe a child has provided personal data to us without appropriate consent where consent is required, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.
12. Complaints
If you are in the UK, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). We’d appreciate the chance to resolve concerns first—please contact us at hello@singingattitude.com.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date shows when changes were made.
